The cast

City Head is the brain-child of Tom Taylor; he graciously gave us first use of his fantastic short play. Tom Taylor is an emerging playwright, who recently became a winner of the Short and Sweet Melbourne for his play, The Example. The play has now been performed in three different countries, and he currently has four plays and a musical in the shortlist for the next Short & Sweet. For more information, please visit his website at www.tomtaylormade.com. He has recently published his first graphic novel, and is now a writer for the Star Wars comics.

Naomi, the Technical Coordinator for Sticky Apple Legs, designed and made all the puppets by herself, as well as directed the performance. You can find out more about how Naomi made the puppets at www.puppetsinmelbourne.com.au. You can read the reviews of City Head here.

Troy Larkin

Troy Larkin is a renowned character actor, appearing in both the realms of film and theatre. You may have caught glimpses of him most recently in the 2006 Melbourne Fringe Festival in Baggage, in the 2006 Short & Sweet Play Festival in The Entrepreneur and also in the short film Run Rincewind Run premiering at the Nullas Anxietis Discworld Convention. This is his first appearance in the world of puppetry and is wonderfully delighted to have his hand up the backside of a tiny human effigy.
